My Resume

  • Work Experience

  • Senior Frontend Consultant

    OpenReply | OBI - 01/2022 – Present

For over three years, I was part of a distributed team developing dynamic user journeys-interactive wizards that helped customers discover personalized product and service recommendations based on their needs.

    • Responsibilities and contributions:

    • Solution architecture: Our aim was to create scalable, high-performance solutions. Started with the Journeys, then developed the Journey Builder (a drag-and-drop tool that allowed non-technical users to configure and manage journeys).

    • Performance: One of our main requirements was having a minimal bundle size to ensure quick loading and a smooth user experience

    • Vue migration: Initially built with Vue 2 and Vuex, later migrated to Vue 3 using Pinia for state management.

    • Automated testing: In lack of a dedicated QA team, we relied on Cypress, later on Playwright (E2E) and Vitest (unit tests) to ensure quality on our projects

This experience strengthened my ability to build high-performance, well-tested applications while collaborating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Technical Lead

    Macadamian - 09/2021 – 01/2022

I joined the HRdownloads project as Technical Lead, being the bridge between the developers from Eastern Europe and the management and business analyst from Canada. Most of my time was spent on refining stories and pre-/grooming them, suggesting solutions. Solving common problems (ex. huge bundle size on FE), POCs were also my responsibilities along with consulting the FE team with technical approaches to take and keeping them focused on our goal. The project should have been done by the time I joined, but of course, I figured that out only after starting to work on it.

  • Senior Frontend Developer

    BoatyardX - 03/2020 – 09/2021

Most of my time at BYX was spent in the Sylon team, which was probably the most quality-oriented team I’ve ever been part of. As a senior frontend engineer I was implementing new features for our product development platform based on Vue and Vuex with the Vuetify library (later swapped with Tailwind). Jest and Cypress were used to ensure code quality.

  • Senior Frontend Developer

    FREQUENTIS - 04/2018 – 03/2020

Although my role was ‘FullStack Developer’, the majority of my tasks consisted of front-end development. Our main challenge was smartSIS, an information display system for ATC that we have created from scratch using Vue JS + Vuex and Open Layers (for displaying information on map). We created several other applications, all based on Vue JS and Vuex, as we found the Flux architecture quite suitable for our needs and helped us to quickly add new features for the demos. As for the backend, we based our applications on SpringBoot and used microservice architecture to make our products as flexible as possible.
